A prayer to whom it may concern
From one who doubts it will be heard
And asks for nothing in return
Except to have delusions cured
You may be there or maybe not
I have no holy litmus test
But just in case I rather thought
An open mind would serve me best
Instead of asking this or that
I think I’ll listen for a while
And keep an open line for chat
In case you should decide to dial
Steve Goble writes fantasy, horror and science fiction, plus some poetry.

And who knows but in the two minutes silence that marked the end of a bloody conflict 90 years ago, and the loss of life in conflicts ever since, perhaps a voice could be heard saying: No more. (My own thoughts only.)
Thank you for sharing this Steve. I love it.

Thanks, Fringemonkey! I appreciate that, especially coming from someone as poem-saavy as yourself.
