pink sun rising
grit in my toes
instant coffee
greasy pancakes
we watch our three
sand pail dancers
and listen to
the water sounds
sandcastles and
shell collecting
cherished moments
seaside camping

Sweet! Soothing and sentimental. Brings back memories. I love the “sand pail dancers” — can see them skipping & twirling along the water’s edge.

Lovely poem. Refreshing rhythm to match the serenity and grace of a world as it should be. Thank you for sharing the moment with this reader.

The images you’ve included made me want to find a seashore quick! (Tough to do in Minnesota.)

There is nothing more peaceful than a day of memories on my favorite beach.

Reminds me of my youth . . . and the days ahead for my sweet little new born and parents who love her very much.
Thank you.
