DIALOGUE • by Peggy Landsman

Why can’t I see in the dark?
Because you open your eyes.

Why can’t I see in the dark?
You only fail when you try.

But I need to see in the dark.
Be still then. Be patient. Be present.

But I need to see in the dark.

You need with a need much too violent.

Tha’s certainly a thought to take into the New Year, Peggy, ‘Consider the lilies of the field’ – don’t push things. I think I’ll put it above my computer!

Oh and see you again tomorrow…Happy New Year! :)

This is food for thought. A New Year’s resolution: Learn to see in the dark.

I detect a little zen seasoning in this one. I like it.
