Battling
inner feelings
I set my satnav to ‘fun’.
inner feelings
I set my satnav to ‘fun’.
Christmas
has to be a time
to gel as a family,
problems
set aside until
this good time becomes real.
Sometimes,
just staying at home
seems like a wonderful treat.
Joan Ryder just loves to write poetry. If it pleases friends, colleagues, fellow writers, it’s a bonus!

“Battling
inner feelings
I set my satnav to ‘fun’.” That’s a wonderful description of how a lot of us feel, I think. I can relate to it anyway! Very nice poem, Joan.

I set my satnav to ’shopping’ today, Joan and it was far from ‘fun’. We’re all mad!
Thank you for expressing what a lot of people won’t. And if I may…Have a fun Christmas

Why do we pressure ourselves so? Your last lines say it all!
