March they say comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb — it has that reputation. And so I thought I would reflect that diversity of temperament in our poetry selection for this month.
We start off wintry, then towards the equinox there is a little cluster of ‘yellow’ themed poems to welcome the return of the Sun to the Northern Hemisphere. But we haven’t forgotten you folks down South. Josephine Orta represents you in fine fettle and Jennifer Stakes remembers a certain summer by the pool.
We have some Saint Patrick’s Day humour with Mr. Errol Nimbly, and an interview with Kirsty Stanley whose poem The Gradual Loss of Me was most read for December 2009.
