it didn’t take long,
about six hundred days
give or take
a few, hard to say
exactly where our
fire died, our ice watered,
our limo ran out of gas
and picked up a couple of flats
it didn’t take long,
in geological time, logic’s
blind and what’s a soulmate anyway?
too much this or that fluid
in the brain
