THE FOX AND THE HOUND • by G Westall

you said i was your paramour
so irresistable you had to chase
across fields and shallow rivers
catching me deep amongst the trees
my fight was just flirting and i
let you take a gullet of blood
because you found its scent alluring
the days grow cold and dim without you

G Westall spends more time thinking about poetry than writing it. He has few publishing credits but holds no doubt that he’ll be world famous some day, though perhaps not for poetry. To see more examples of his writing check out the lyrics for his band Drear http://drear.luxferous.com http://fireflydiorama.blogspot.com
